Côte de Granit Rose - Pink Granite Coast - The Ploumanac'h Granite Massif is 12 kilometers long and runs from Trébeurden to Perros-Guirec and is one of the most beautiful geological sites in France.
The icon of the area is the lighthouse Mean Ruz known mainly as Phare de Ploumanac'h.
In the tourist guides and brochures, the entire coast between Trébeurden and Paimpol is mentioned as the Pink Granite Coast (approx. 50-60 km)

The icon of the extended Côte de Granit Rose is a cottage wedged between rocks on a small promontory overlooking the ocean above the village of Plougrescant. It is known as Castel-Meur (French: "La Maison du Gouffreʺ, English ʺThe house between the rocks ”), but it is usually used only as Castel-Meur or Le Gouffre.
The immediate surroundings are called Le Gouffre (Abyss) after the local abyss between the two cliffs.
Le Gouffre is around 30 km away from Ploumanach.

The island of Renote (Enez Rennod in Breton) is part of the town of Trégastel in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany. Located on the Côte de Granit Rose - Coast of Pink Granite.
There are also megalithic monuments from the Neolithic period on this island. At the time, Renote was probably part of the mainland without any landscaping.
A trail runs along the coast around the whole island. It is best to visit Renote at low tide, when the sea recedes and reveals all the rocks of strange shapes.
